Zen, a dashing 3.5-year-old Akita, is looking for a new home due to changes in his family’s circumstances. This wasn’t an easy decision, but they want the very best for him. And let’s be honest—Zen deserves the best! He’s active, energetic, and as alert as you’d expect from a top-tier Akita.

This handsome boy has mastered the art of communication—raise-a-paw means “toilet break, please,” and a gentle nudge translates to “Excuse me, hooman, my belly requires snacks immediately!” His gourmet tastes include peanut butter, apples, and cheese (because why settle for basic kibble when you can have fine dining?).

Now, a little heads-up—Zen had a rough experience with another dog when he was younger, so he can be a bit wary of them. Also, motorbikes? Not a fan. But when it comes to people, Zen is great around kids and currently lives with two, so we’d consider a home with children aged 12+.
