The Rescue Club meets Ghost

Journalist and content creator Izzy Bushell of The Rescue Club highlights one of our special boys Ghost, a four-year-old Akita still looking for his forever home.

Ghost was found as a stray and taken to a local pound, where he went through a temperament assessment.

According to Second Chance Akita Rescue, Ghost reacted during the assessment and didn’t pass. The rescue told me he was facing being put to sleep.

Second Chance wanted to take him, but initially they were told no because of the assessment.

So they asked again.

This time, the answer was yes.

Ghost was given another chance and is now safe with Second Chance Akita Rescue. But when I visited a couple of months ago he was looking for a home — and he still is.

You might not be Ghost’s person, but sharing his story might help his person find him.
