Alfie 💔

We are devastated to have to say that our beautiful blue eyed boy Alfie crossed the rainbow bridge on Tuesday 10/03.

We are struggling so hard with this and why it’s happened to him. He had been admitted to the vets to remove his eye, which was being severely impacted by Glaucoma and causing him a lot of pain.

He came through his operation successfully and was doing well. He was kept in the vets overnight as a precaution due to some fluid leakage from the eye socket. When he was taken for a little walk earlier the following day he suffered a brain aneurism and collapsed. Sadly the vets were unable to save him despite trying everything they could.

Alfie was with us for 18 months and never found his forever home but he was loved by us all and his carers at kennels, especially Taz and Alfie who absolutely adored him.

We will be looking to make an everlasting tribute to Alfie, we don’t know what yet but it will be fitting for him.

We are so sorry Alfie, we loved you unconditionally.
