This handsome boy is 4yo Bear. He has an absolute zest for life and is at his happiest being out and about exploring and taking in the sights and sounds. Bear is super friendly and excitable. He relishes attention from everyone and anyone. He’s also very keen to get up onto your lap and lean in for affection. This boy is a bit of an athlete. He is very accomplished at jumping and clearing fences and walls up to 5ft, so you must have a fully enclosed garden with at least 6ft fencing/boundaries to keep him contained. Bear has a passion for playtime, especially a game of tug with his rope. He can be a little boisterous in his excitement. Training wise, Bear understands basic commands, especially when a treat is involved. He gives a high five and will sit when asked. On-going training would be beneficial for Bear as he is eager to learn. We are looking for a home where there are no young children. Bear is getting upset with the very young children in his current home. He has taken to growling at them when they enter his space. We are of the belief that he may become unsettled by the noise and squeals of the children. He is particularly sensitive to the noise of fireworks and gets himself into a panic. He is also quite likely to be afraid of thunderstorms, so a reasonably quiet household would be the ideal for Bear.
