I’m Akira and this my Story So Far…

I’m 5 years old—excitable, friendly, and always up for fun! I’ve been told I’m super treat-driven (I’ll do just about anything for a snack!), but sharing isn’t my strong suit. I’m happy to bring you my toys, but please don’t snatch them away from me.

I know all my basic commands and used to love trick training in class. I currently live with a cat, but squirrels? They send me sprinting up the garden!

Due to my owner’s circumstances, I don’t get walked as often as I should, so I can be quite strong on the lead. That’s why I love running around the closed field where there are no other dogs—on the lead, I can be a bit reactive. But give me space to zoom, and I’m in my element!

I’m good with children but would only be rehomed with kids over 12. Trips to the vet can be stressful for me, so I need to be muzzled just in case. Fireworks? No, thank you! They send me diving for cover—but thunder? That doesn’t bother me as much.

Most of all, I love being fussed over, and I’ll reward you with plenty of licks and cuddles! Stop fussing me, and I’ll gently paw you for more.
